EVERY   SCHOOL   DAY   COUNTS  Thursday Sept 15 2022

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Everyone has the right to be SAFE

Everyone has the right to be RESPECTED

Everyone has the right to LEARN

HAPPY HOLIDAYS: I wish all students, staff and families a safe and restful break. It certainly has been a very busy term with excursions, a camp, Fathering Project activities, Discos and Father’s day stall.

FOOTBALL PARADES: It was so much fun today joining in with thePrep-2 and 3-6 parades.  Students and staff were dressed up in their favourite sporting team colors and sang the different team songs. Thanks to the parents/grandparents who came along to join in the fun. I am looking forward to the staff versus student footy match on the oval. I am backing the students to be the winning team.

SCHOOL HATS: Just a reminder that all students will need to wear a navy broad brimmed hat next term as we are an accredited Sun Smart school. The hats are available for purchase ($12)  from the front office.

Grade 3 students enjoyed a space celebration day last Friday 9th September. Throughout the term students have been learning about the Earth, the Moon and the Sun as part of their ‘Earth and Space Science’ investigations unit. Some of the activities that the students completed during their celebration day were balloon and straw rockets, spinning solar system plates, galaxy slime, a space quiz and moon crater art.
