Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome to the 2021 school year!
We are looking forward to seeing all the students and are excited to welcome 200 Preps and our new families to the community of Melton South Primary School.
Over the holidays we have received 4 more classrooms and are being sited for another 4. This means that for a short time the oval will have limited access and gate 6 will remain closed.
Due to social distancing, we ask that only parents/carers enter the grounds with students rather than extended family.
All adults will be required to check-in via the Melton South Primary School QR code at the gate. Please remain socially distanced at 1.5m apart at all times.
All students Grades Prep – 6 return to school on Thursday 28/1/21.
All gates will be opened for grades 1 – 6 from 8.40am and the bell will be rung for students to enter their classrooms at 8.50am. All students will be dismissed from their classrooms at 3.15pm.
In order to ensure a smooth transition Preps will enter ONLY from Gates 2, 4 & 5 at 9.15am and will also be dismissed from their classrooms at 3.15pm. This arrangement is only for the first two days Thursday 28/1/21 & Friday 22/1/21.
Please note all gates will be opened at 3.05pm and will be locked again at 3.25pm. Parents/Carers will again need to register via the QR code upon entry.
Our office will reopen on Wednesday 27/1/21 between 8.30am and 3.45pm.
Students are reminded to wear a navy broad brimmed hat and bring a drink bottle of water to school each day.
