MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Everyone has the right to be SAFE
Everyone has the right to be RESPECTED
Everyone has the right to LEARN

The 2024 Student Attitudes to School Survey (AtoSS) will be administered to all government school students in Years 4 to 12.

About the survey: The AtoSS is a voluntary annual student survey offered by the Department of Education to assist schools and the department to gain an understanding of students’ perceptions and experience of school. We value student voice as a means to improving student engagement, wellbeing and quality instruction and will be asking your child about their thoughts and feelings in relation to their school, their learning, peer relationships, resilience, bullying, health and wellbeing, physical activity, and life in general. This year, the survey will be conducted at our school between 20th of May and the 10th of June.

Parents of students in grades 4, 5 and 6 will receive further information about the survey and how to opt out if they would prefer their child not to participate in the survey.

SWIMMING PROGRAM: Students in Grade 4 started their two week swimming program on Monday. We are very fortunate that DET fund these programs.

UNIFORM: Please ensure your child is in school uniform. If they are not in uniform please let your child’s teacher know by sending a note or writing in their school diary.

CASUAL RELIEF TEACHERS:  Just to let you know that we are still experiencing difficulties employing casual relief teachers to replace teachers on sick or other forms of leave. This is happening even though we are using several agencies.
